Crave Now Bringing you comfort food served fast and friendly.
THE PROJECT
Crave Now needed a brand identity that reflects two things at once: comfort and speed. The service is quick. The food feels like home. The design needed to show both.
The Concept
- We selected clean, bold typography so the brand reads clearly at any size: fast-service digital screens, take-out packaging, storefront signage.
- The colour palette uses warm tones (think soft oranges, deep reds) to evoke hearty food, paired with a strong accent colour to show action and movement.
- The icon design uses a simple mark that hints at both a plate and a clock—representing “comfort” + “quick service”.
- Visual identity is built to be flexible: light and dark backgrounds, full-colour and reversed-colour versions, so it works on bags, uniforms, screens, packaging.
- Fonts were refined: we started with a commercial font, then customised characters (especially “C”, “N”, “w”) to add unique touches that tie into the icon’s angles and curves.
The Contribution
- Logo design (primary + secondary)
- Icon/design mark development
- Font selection + customisation
- Full brand visual identity (colour palette, graphic system, layout treatments)
- Mock-up applications (packaging, signage, digital screens, uniforms)
- Dark-theme version for high-contrast or digital first usage
About Crave Now
Crave Now serves everyday people who want good food, served quick, without compromise. The offering spans lunch, dinner, take-out, and delivery. The identity needed to scale—not only for one location but for multiple venues and future expansion.
Real-World Application
We produced mock-ups that show how the logo and brand visuals appear:
- On take-out bags and boxes (front and side)
- On digital menu screens in high-traffic areas
- On signage above entryways, where readability at distance matters
- On social-media and delivery app thumbnails (where icon clarity at small size matters)
Through these mock-ups we confirmed that the icon remains clear at small sizes, colour contrast remains strong on different backgrounds, and the brand retains warmth even in fast-service settings.
Custom features - custom templates
By introducing multiple features into the new shop, we had to look further from the bundled features of WooCommerce. We added advanced custom fields, and custom taxonomies to better categorize the products, and add features into it. We used the power of Elementor dynamic content feature to create templates and displayed the custom data on single product and archive pages.
Email customization
WooCommerce template emails can often be perceived as dull and uninspiring. Recognizing this, we took the initiative to revamp our email templates. Leveraging the capabilities of YayMail, an email customizer plugin, we crafted new email templates specifically designed for WooCommerce. These templates boast increased width, enhanced responsiveness on mobile devices, and most importantly, a more engaging and readable format.

The client appreciated a straightforward process. We kept communication open, gave regular check-ins and options (colour directions, icon alternatives, font refinements). The result: a brand identity they feel confident in using across all touch-points.
Technologies in Practice
- Adobe Illustrator: for designing the logo, icon, and refining the custom font characters
- Adobe Photoshop: for creating realistic mock-ups of packaging, signage, uniforms, digital screens
WooCommerce
Elementor
They wanted to use Kadence with Gutenberg, but Gutenberg is not there and needs advanced level customization to reach designs and functionality needed. We went with Hello theme and Elementor as a page builder.
